Thanks Audball for your gracious compliment. I should be getting it back by the end of this week, so I will definitely take some more outdoors pictures. Brian will lay a little more gold on the inside and I''m thinking it will be fine since my ering width will help with it as well, since taking one of the diamond out will cause it to be too small this was the best option. Because there are different variables, how bout I just say that the cost was between $1500-$2000 depending on the color meleesDate: 7/14/2009 9:55:16 AM

Any new news on your DELICIOUS ring D&T? I absoultely ADORE this setting. I''ve always liked the U-ternity rings, but there was always *something* about them that wasn''t quite perfect for me. This ring shows me what I''ve been wanting to see. If you don''t mind sharing the details with me, about how much did having this custom setting cost? BF and I are thinking about fogoing a traditional e-ring to put savings towards a downpayment on a house and my preference on this route would be to go with a small diamond band and a plain band for a set. I''d probably only go 3/4 eternity (for sizing of course) and would prefer platinum. If you''re uncomfortable sharing cost, that''s okay too, it''s just beautiful! I can''t wait until you''ve got it back!
ETA: Just saw your finger size and, my cost would certainly be more at 5 3/4 - 6 maybe.
Thanks Sundial- Sadly my E ring won't be back on my finger until the first week of Aug - apparently the casting company that my local B&M use decided to take a two week vacation.Date: 7/14/2009 10:48:19 AM

The profile is very very low, and it would go great with anything. I''m really looking forward to yours. I would certainly love to have this in a larger pointer size as well. What size of melees would you be interested in? I went to Jared and tried on a similar look and knew that was what I wanted and they had 10 pointers in them- it looked great. If I were to do this as a stand alone. I''d definetly be interested in even 15pointers

Goodness! That is such an amazing band. Congratulations!
Hey audball! thanks for checking in, Yeah I got it back right before I left on vaca. I haven't taken any new pictures except with my new reset, but Brian just put a thin layer ring inside, I like it better without, because it won't sit that low anymore with the thin ring inside but it now fits and I have a little wiggle room should I need to upsize. the second picture, you can kinda see the thin ring/gold on the profile underside.Date: 8/6/2009 7:55:14 PM
