Just curious... Did I pay too much for my Diamond?

My question is, I was looking around at other PS diamonds and was wondering, did we pay too much for this diamond? It was around 14k, just for the diamond and $2000 for my natalie K setting. I am thinking of getting an upgrade in the near future. I love my diamond and it sparkle like crazy. I''m just curious though.

For example btiger has 3.42 I H&A from GOG and said she paid less then $8000. I might be wrong on this, but here is her link on the story behind her beautiful ring!

I read the thread and I think btiger is referring to the cost of a setting quote from Leon Mege at 8k.....I am sure you did fine, James Allen are competitively priced and you didn't overpay.

Read the story, 8000 is the setting price.

No way you can buy a 3c+ stone for 8k. I do not think it is even possible with enhanced stone much less a square H&A.

Yeah, you misread that. Price of a setting from LM was $8k. No way that stone was $8k.

Pears and rounds are two completely different animals. That would be a matter of personal choice, however, your ering is just beautiful. If it were me, I''d keep what you have!
