Just received my 4+ carat Whiteflash ring.Great experience

Thanks for the info. I will try my luck on whiteflash and see what they can come up with for me. Just to let everyone know, do not do business with Shenoa & Co. from New York. I bought a 3.02 Ct. G/VS2 diamond from them and received a 3 Ct. N/SI1-SI2 diamond which was very poorly cut. The diamond was almost brown with no sparkle at all.

By the way if anyone knows of or has a diamonf for sale here is what I am looking for:

2.5 - 3.5 + Carat minimum SI1, I with excellent cut (Ideal). Preferably GIA, AGS or even EGL certified.

In theory (and by law, as much as I know), they can loose out one grade, but from G to N there are allot more. Yay!

I''d love to have a huge stone like yours, but I haven''t earned it as you have

That is my dream diamond! It is huge!

In regards to the appraisal, I have to tell you that you will be better off having your ring appraise at least 6-8 thousand more than what you paid for.

I am saying this because a few months ago I lost my 2.2 ct VS1 D diamond ring. I had it insured for a little over 25 thousand. When I had it appraised a few years ago, it was only appraised for about 3 thousand more than what I paid for. Now I can''t touch a diamond of that quality or size with the money I got from my insurance. I feel so sad inever had it reapparised.

I decided that I would work my way up to the size I had. I don''t think I will get another D color, however. I am getting a J 1.7 VS2 this time. It is going to be fun to upgrade every year or two

If I do that, someday I will have one like yours...I can dream, right?
