Won this yesterday on eBay -- from TGT. 1.75 ct., 8 mm. I'm hoping it won't show too much zoning -- decided I just had to see it IRL. Should arrive next week. Pics then!

I was also looking at this ammy! So glad a fellow PS'er won it. You will have to share if it has the blue flashes....if so I would love to see photos of it! Might have to acquire one of my very own some day.

Thank you, Arkteia, Minou, RParker & Haywood. One of the attractions of this stone, imho, is the cutting, very nice, should make it sparkle. I'm really looking forward to seeing it on my very own doorstep next week!

Its funny, I was in on the bidding as well...think about it, all of the bidders were probably PSrs. We all inflated up the bids because we all wanted it. LOL..its too bad we cant all work together instead of against each other..ha ha. But its to each his own, I guess

In all fairness, I already own a JXR from TGT...everyone should own one..they are unique and beautiful..unlike Ammy from any other location, and the fact that its from the US just adds to it. JXR's along with Oregon Sunstone, are my favorite US gemstones.

If you look at it from Brad or any seller's perspective, he deserves to have it sell for the price it sold for, so realistically speaking, theoretically, if it wasn't PSers, it would probably be someone else. We all know and love Brad, so let's be happy it sold and for a price that doesn't bankrupt him.
