Honestly that is very tiresome.
 
I thought she was looking better than at the Trooping of the Colour, lovely to see her and little Charlotte at the tennis.
 
It's uncanny how many high profile working royals have become incapacitated short term and long term through accident and disease since the Queen died. Once the keystone was gone, the entire building started to fall.

Perhaps she felt more strongly than the King does about the privacy of the Royal Family.

the king is head of state, that's his #1 job
the Princess's job is being mother and husband to two future King's, she is not yet Queen so there is no constitutional need for her to do anything else , same as for the rest of the royal family

this could happen it any family, especiailly with older members, we had 4 sick family memebers cross two generations when my step daughter died of cancer, her dad had sarcadosos, her sisiter in law had many serouse problems due to years of alchoal abuse, and her aunty (Gary's SIL) had heart problems oh and a great aunt with breast cancer
but we had healthy family members just like the royal family does,

we are just used to the royal family appearing to be hardy and growing old becuase the late Queen exercised her right to privacy just like any other citizen is entitled to when it comes to health matter
the building is not falling, its just the kid's are still just little kids
perhaps we do need to draft in Princess Beatrice ? but her father kind of bu**ered that up for her

Great insight Daisys.

My thought has always been that while public figures have a right to privacy, their expectation of it isn't realistic. When one earns money from having a public that likes one enough to monetarily support one -- be it entertainer or royal or athlete -- privacy is the sacrifice. Some public figures go through extraordinary lengths to keep some or all aspects of their lives private and it leads to as much speculation and rumor as it does when they stay completely transparent. That is the nature of the career/profession as well the nature of those who follow them.

It was sweet to see William steal a kiss. Being in the royal family one is supposed to not show emotion. And little Charlotte looks just like her dad.

My MIL had cancer, did chemo and didn't
lose a hair on her head.

I overheard a clip about her being back and my first thought was this thread! I haven't heard anything else, as a Brit it's simply not something I care about, but I'm debating catching up on the gossip so my mom (American) and I have something to discuss on our weekly phone call.

Anyone want to give me the low down so I can fake it?
