Any glamour shots yet? :naughty:

Actually I decided to save my pennies this time.

We'd love to hear more about Kenny as we have seen pictures of your grand piano & carpet, your coloured diamond collection, the asscher and the Octavia beauties, but we know very little about YOU. Please tell us a little about Kenny, the guy. :))

Gosh, I'm flattered Isaku but I'm really an open book here.
I'm amazed I am as transparent as I am.
I think y'all know more about me than many others here.

are you talking about the pink asscher?

Yes.
It is a FINE FCD at a great price.
The color is more like Intense than Fancy Pink.
Someone grabbed it right after I took it off Reserve.

Anyone here buy it?
Hope so.
I'd love to see more pics of it.

D'oh! I thought you bought it. I was planning on putting word forth if you decided not to keep it. :blackeye: Sigh.

Well, I don't think I've read anything about how you earn a living or where you like to go on vacations - just ordinary 'stuff''.

College or University? Why you decided to pursue excellence in photography? Mentor?

If any of those questions are too personal, just ignore them. :wavey:

I work in a creative field, but rarely take a real vacation, nor do I really want to.
I lived overseas for 6 years while in the military and the touristy experience doesn't appeal to me.
What would appeal to me is to just pack up and live in and work other countries for a few years each.
I have no college degree.
Had a horribly abusive childhood and got tons of therapy, which helped.

While overseas I took one black and white darkroom photography course and fell in love with the pursuit of the captivating image.
Beyond that everything is the result of thinking and experimenting.

I studied classical piano seriously with a top teacher starting at age 40.
I paint in watercolor, but haven't touched it in years.
Not much else to tell.

justginger, sorry that pinkie slipped away.
You were the one who told me about it, so I figured you weren't going to buy it. :?
They have a very rich offering of pink emerald cuts just now.

No worries, Kenny - that stone just lodged itself in my brain. You've probably done me a favor, saving me from myself. :wink2:

did you get that stone on your hands kenny? or you decided to not get it after all before getting the stone?

I never got it, and only had it on Reserve while I considered it.
I was going back and forth and was really 50 50, and just decided to wait.

I have other stones near that color which would not have been replaced by this new stone, but if I didn't I certainly would have bought it.

Ah....I thought about it as well. It's a really well cut stone and the colour certainly looks a smidge more than merely Fancy Pink. It is also really well priced. If not for the FIpP I already own, I would have jumped at this one.
