Beautiful pics; I love the one w/the rainbow!
Thanks for the hints and the info on the dress. I like the idea of having a second one to trash...yours sounds like a good deal and beautiful at that! Not sure Mr. Love In Bloom would feel about being involved in the underwater shots...he never learned how to swim or even float. I''ll be sure to post underwater shots if I do them, but am still waiting on pro pics from the big day!Date: 11/1/2007 4:58:43 PM

Yes, but this isn''t my original wedding dress. My real wedding dress was a silk-satin MCBridal and I didn''t want to risk destroying it. Since I got such a deal on my original dress, DH said I could buy a trash the dress, dress. I found this one at Jessica McClintock for CHEAP! It''s a polyester taffetta, so it survived the underwater bit fine, and is even cleaner than it was when I got to Hawaii!
One hint for underwater stuff. My photographer had my husband and I swimming from one side to the other, and it looked silly because we''re obviously not synchronized swimmers. If he had just done a pic of us hugging, facing each other, heads above water, it would have been perfect! Also, one or two close-ups may have been cool, but we just didn''t have enough time to get it all done.
If you do this, please post them!

Lauren, you could have stopped at the first one posted because that is IT! WoW! You look ephemeral (is that the right word?!?) and like a mermaid. Just amazing. That first one is my absolute favorite! Kudos. And enjoy!n BTW, was that your actual wedding dress or one you got just for the TTD session?

Awwww, SDL, that''s so sweet of you to say.
This was really some of the most fun I''ve ever had in a pool - it was completely tiled in variated blue glass tiles, and I just knew it would end up looking pretty nice in the pics.
You should do it, too! Most photographers won''t even charge you for their time when they know they''re getting a bride i her wedding dress to jump in a pool.

Wow, I don''t usually come to this part of the forum so I hadn''t seen these! All your pictures are so beautiful, I''m speechless! And your ''trash the dress'' dress is gorgeous, perfect for the photo shoot beach setting!
