My boyfriend is the only other person I''ve ever heard talk about ''egg and soldiers''--I thought ''soldiers'' was a British thing (the boyf is English)! Hmph. Well, wherever it''s from, I think it''s an adorable name. Think I''d be more inclined to play with my food than eat it.

What happened with your oatmeal this morning, by the way? Success?

Yep, its a British/colonial thing (I''m in Oz) as my grandmother always used to make us a boiled egg with soldiers... I always order them when we go out for breakfast. Guess I''ve never grown up!!

Wait....am I getting my PSers confused, then? I thought iwanna was from Texas... That wouldn''t explain why she calls them soldiers...
