WTB Leon Mege or Steven Kirsch ring.

Are you looking to part with a ring from Steven Kirsch or Leon Mege? I'm looking to purchase one for my wife and would prefer the secondary market.

Ring must be able to be sized to 4-4.25 range.

While I would prefer an emerald cut stone, everything they create is beautiful so would consider many options.
 
Great choices ! It may be helpful if you let know your budget.

Thank you. I did see your ring and it's beautiful. My hesitation is simply the Art Deco component as I don't believe it's what my wife would want in an every day ring, but would love it as a RHR.

I'm looking to replace her engagement ring from about 10 years ago as we approach our 14th anniversary...or as a gift on her 40th birthday in September.

The other ring is great, but I believe it's a size 7, and wouldn't feel comfortable resizing it to a 4.
 
I love that 5stone EC by LM. You could reach out to LM and ask how much it would cost for him to size it down and refurbish it to be stable at that size.
 
Ahh, okay, new engagment ring. Just keep an eye out for Victor's, too, because his work is so beautiful.

Since it's not very common for these to come on the market especially near her size, how about having us help you find a diamond and have Victor or Steven set it?
 
All three of those are SOOO beautiful. The last one is more than I can afford or I'd buy it in a moment.

Well the first one is on sale. It's a really nice option. Otherwise contact some of the suggested vendors and have them make you something. Some of them will work with stones that you provide so in theory you could buy a preloved or Antique emerald cut and get one of them to make you something.

I don't think anyone can really be helpful unless you give a budget.

I've contacted JbG. We will see if I hear back, but in the meantime still looking. Are there any other sites that consign or sell used higher end stones/rings?

I could list a dozen vendors, but First Dibs seems to "house" them all. I'd go there first and synthesize from there. Keep in mind that many of the vendors that post there also have their own websites with the same wares...prices tend to be lower.

FWIW, in all the years I have been watching Betteridge, Oakgem, Eragem, Dover, and Beladora (etc) none of them have had Leon Mege or SK items.

Thanks. Ideally I want to buy directly from a person who is simply trying to sell their beautiful ring and they want it to go to a nice person.
 
That’s a beautiful ring! JBG’s IG mentions she is in NY for the week taking appointments to view some of her jewels. Are you close to NY by any chance? Perhaps she hopes to receive a better offer for that ring on this trip, but in any case a prompt response to you is in order. Good luck.

Just hassle her again, try IG or FB if you have no luck with emails. Perhaps try asking the lowest price they would take rather than making a specific offer, but usually she takes offers to the consigners.
 
Just an update. Someone from here was nice enough to contact them and they emailed me back. While I don't have any spam filters, something obviously got lost in the shuffle.

I did not want to come across as being upset or rude about anything.
 
Not really an upgrade: I got an additional new ring and found that this one spent more and more time in its box.
My original E-ring was also a Leon Mege - an EC / elongated Asscher with traps. I believe it has since changed hands twice among the pricescope family.

That's also a beautiful ring and D color too. Was EC not getting much love because you prefer a higher color? How would you compare quality between LM and VC settings?
