WTB Leon Mege or Steven Kirsch ring.

That's also a beautiful ring and D color too. Was EC not getting much love because you prefer a higher color? How would you compare quality between LM and VC settings?
I think LM and VC quality is very similar. Both are excellent. I have had 4 LM pieces and the oval 3-stone ring is my first VC. I enjoyed working with both jewelers and feel privileged to own their creations. It was a logistical choice to use VC most recently - I used to live on the East Coast and had business in NYC regularly. I’m now based in California.
I don’t think my preference was due to the color... probably more to do with *size*;)2 and finger coverage. My oval faces up about 40% larger than my EC. I do love the VSB fluorescence... I would definitely go that route again. The stone turns the most gorgeous lavender-blue in the sun. It’s very unique.
I am color sensitive, but lower color doesn’t bother me at all. I’ve owned a large M-color antique cushion too. If I wanted an EC with the same amount of finger-coverage, I would need to be in the 5-6 carat range. And I’m not a halo girl. Maybe one day...!

Hi Tiger,

Thank you so much for you reply. I am still considering your ring is it is absolutely beautiful and my wife would be so grateful to have something so wonderful.

The only issue I am figuring out is budget/affordability right now but should have a better idea going into next week as we just got hit with an unexpected expense.

The big thing is her diamond actually broke years ago, and I've wanted to replace it with something spectacular, so I have to continue to figure out what is feasible.

You have beautiful taste.

Thank you. I did see your ring and it's beautiful. My hesitation is simply the Art Deco component as I don't believe it's what my wife would want in an every day ring, but would love it as a RHR.

I'm looking to replace her engagement ring from about 10 years ago as we approach our 14th anniversary...or as a gift on her 40th birthday in September.

The other ring is great, but I believe it's a size 7, and wouldn't feel comfortable resizing it to a 4.
Hi Moosejaw - My LM 5 stone ring is a siz 6 (super snug) and can be sized down... The price was just reduced on Grace's sight to $24,900... Under "Signed Pieces"
