I *remember* drooling over your ring and earrings Mrs. F! And now a pendant to match Your pieces are exquisite, truly amazing. Enjoy them in much much happiness and good health
ETA: I looked at your original thread again, and I see that the earrings in this thread are a different pair than in your original thread. I have thought of those earrings from time to time and how Leon made sure that they would hang the perfect length on each ear. What a great experience you've had! Maybe someday...until then I am saving your threads for future inspiration and for good ole yummy eye candy
Thank you piratefan, I am sure you will find your gorgeous pieces, there is so much inspiration to be found here.
Thank you for including mine among them.
I meant to take more pictures lizzyann01,athenaworth, bean, LaurenThePartier and missydebby,
I will try to do so as soon as possible as I know seeing the pieces from a distance makes a big difference.
Thank you AdanaEsq, may prettier ones come your way.
kelpie, I do have wonderful people in my life, I am thankful always. Hahahaa! Liz Taylor & Mrs. Flintstone..
Thank you labellavita81, Yssie, littlelanhua and Hotpozzum.
poshpepper, love the 'eeking' little blue guys!
Have a wonderful Evening and Morning! (Friday, 7.55am here)
Lovely pieces. I have never seen the square prongs on any of LM's pieces and I notice on the pendant and earrings they used his traditional delicate pointed double prongs. Did you specifically ask for the squared-off prongs on the ring?
Seriously amazing collection of spakly goodness. I love the pieces each and every one of them. The sizes are unbelievable. I have several friends who have 1 or 2 pieces of big carat weight but not a whole collection of one rock after another.
How do you keep that ring from knocking things over??? Thanks for sharing. I dream of owning a cushion stone some day and now I have some real life examples to aspire to! HEE HEE If I hit the lottery, or some really rich old relative leaves me money. More pics!
Thank you urseberry, yes I did get the first earrings reset.
As gorgeous as they were, they turned out to be a little bit long, I just couldn't wear them every day.
It was a difficult decision as I loved the design.
Perry, Leon and I kind of re-shuffled some of the on going projects.
It worked out for the better in the end, some still under way.
I wear these ones all the time, the hoops are very small. The pave cushion floats right under the earlobe. Perfect.
Dear elisateach, your dream ring will be sparkling on your finger soon, just a matter of time. Thank you for your kind words.
DearBuddha, I don't even feel the pendant, it is soo light. I haven't taken it off since it has arrived. Thank you.
Thank you supers and oddoneout!
Swingirl, the square prongs were mine. I wanted an antique look to compliment the stone.
I love how it turned out, exactly as I wished.
But sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice.
Now having seen how delicate the claw prongs look, I love them! Live and learn.
These prongs are surely bulkier than the claws but that gives the ring an antique look.
I was passed down a lovely ring with 6 prongs from my Great Grandmother.
Very traditional French with a giant light blue stone.. Wasn't cut perfectly but was very chunky and looked majestic to my eyes.
Sadly, it was also stolen with all the others.
This design reminds me of it and creates a special connection.
Also different prongs break the monotony of all matching stones, gives each cushion a different touch.
A single, a double and a square.
I guess there is no end to 'perfecting' these things. It is a never ending quest.
Some can dedicate all of their time to these projects.. Day in, day out. Even for years to come.
The 'search' becomes their purpose of existence, disconnected from the real world.
Possible.
Just not for me and not for my Family.
I took this on as I would any other project.
Did my homework in order to receive the most perfect results as quick and as painless as possible.
My task was to have my own few pieces made the way I wanted so that I could wear them every single day.
Had to be executed by perfectionists for this perfectionist.
Done.
Done and done.
My Family has been very supportive of the time I have spent on this project and I am thankful for that.
We are very contented with the outcome.
A job well done, our heartfelt appreciations expressed and personal experiences shared.
Beautiful new day here, off to new adventures.
Stay well.
Your new jewelry collection is AMAZING! Wow. I especially love your pendant. It's so simply set that the diamond just can't help but be the star!
Like you (but on a MUCH smaller scale ), I like jewelry that I can wear every day. I guess after all these years, I've realized what a waste it is to have expensive items sitting in a drawer (and I've extended my efforts to reduce and simplify to clothing, shoes, and handbags, too). I like having fewer pieces that I actually wear.
Wow!! that is quite the collection that you have! Very beautiful. I tried out the windex tip and omg! my ring has never sparkled so much! thanks for the tip.
hawaiianorangetree, Windex really works, thanks goes to Mrs.Perry Chen.
But a word of caution..
Mr.F almost emptied the cup with windex and my collection above down the drain, stopped him as he was!!!!
Inform the family NOT to touch the cup with blue liquid, explain what it contains.
blueiris, thank you.
I feel exactly the same way. Very few of everything, more wear.
Your new photos are so creative. Now I'm hungry and thirsty - and is that CREME BRULEE?!?! Yum.
DeBEERS (get it?) should hire you as a stylist for diamond photos.
It is really great to see the photos of the jewelry on you, especially! Your necklace still completely bowls me over. Thank you for sharing more with us!
