Let Me See Your Solitaire Engagement Ring WITH Your Plain We

@CRYSTAL24K How are you wearing your set these days? I haven't seen you post for a while?

And one on the hand:

Gosh, you have the most ADORABLE hands! Do you get that a lot?? I honestly thought you took a photo of it on your new baby! :P2 And that diamond! That is something. Holy wow.

Oh lordy - that is officially the end of my fantasy of EVER having long, slender fingers!

Chappy, I'm 58 years old, so my hands are just chubby old-lady hands. But if you think they look ok, then thank you. :))

The ring, on the other hand, really is something.

Ah I hope you don't get me wrong, I really do just mean you have adorable hands! Adorable, tender, wrinkle-free, soft baby hands! Certainly not old lady hands, I wouldn't have guessed your age at all.

Also just noticed the handwritten engraving inside your band (was too distracted by huge rock), very beautiful.

Here’s my 0.61 carat rb platinum pave solitaire with milgrain along with my platinum wedding band. I’m sorry that none of the pictures are that clear. I love plain wedding bands! :lickout:

This is my 1.14ct solitaire worn with my 5mm plain band. The ER is in the process of being reset and hopefully i will soon be able to post the new ring:appl:IMG_20171013_180240.jpg IMG_20171013_172905_resized.jpg

Absolutely gorgeous set, but what is your ring size if you don’t mind me asking?

I decided to revive this thread with my little upgrade, 0.44 ct solitaire with matching 2mm comfort fit band. Both bands are 14k gold (solitaire has platinum prongs.) 08E3B0A0-8D45-4E17-A9B4-938053A2A400.jpeg

I absolutely LOVE the symmetry of your set. Perfect!

So I have wanted to contribute to this thread with a matching set for the longest time. And I finally got there. I went all the way old school with this one. Knife edge solitaire with knife edge band. I have always disliked the knife edge, until these past six months. Now...I get it. I'm slow I guess.

Sorry, 14k rose gold for both bands and the stone is a 1.51 antique cushion!

You see, this is my favorite combo ever. The classic Tiffany knife edge set are my dream, but your set surpasses that given how utterly perfect your diamond is :kiss2:

I just love this classic set. A yellow gold plain knife edge band is on my wish list to go with my WF yellow gold knife edge solitaire. I’ve been trying to order the Tiffany version but they are always out of stock in my size. I think it’s perfection.

Popping back to my old thread to post my 15th Anniversary Upgrade
1.72ct I VS1
BGD Platinum Knife Edge Solitaire Size 7.5
James Allen 3mm Platinum Band Size 7.5

Aww- Thank you for your kind words! I just love solitaires even though I sometimes think about other settings. They are like the LBD of jewelry.

And yes, Mr. Crystal24K is my person and I am beyond thankful that we found each other.

You know that I have always admired your set-- so stunning and classic!

I was actually posting a reply to your query from 2018 (where does time go? ) when I noticed your recent reply. We are fine- Thank God. Just busy. I have finally accepted the fact that we will never NOT be busy - LOL. My mom is also living with us now, which is a blessing since she is getting older. My twins have a very special relationship with her which is wonderful to witness first hand.

Hoping that all is well in your world!

Congratulations on 15 years and for reviving this amazing thread!

Ah, I am so glad to hear all is well & that you are all safe. These are certainly trying times & I for one take solace on PS more than I used to. It's good to hear from you!

Congratulations on 15 years and for reviving this amazing thread!

Thank you! I am so glad that you enjoy this thread. I just love that there are so many different variations of the classic solitaire and a plain band.

This is my platinum set below! I prefer my solitaire with my plain band and not my eternity band. Even after 10 years I can’t imagine moving away from a solitaire/plain band combo. Never say never I suppose  I am on PS after all.

I posted my rings WAY back on this thread, but here is a clearer picture. This is how I mostly wear them these days, with my full eternity on my right. I'm slowly getting Old Lady Hands that swell in the heat, so I've had to accept that 3 rings at almost 9mm together, are sometimes just too much
