Another random and completely useless story: I recently found a brand of miniature chocolate chip cookies that 99 percent of you would find disgusting, but man, I can''t get enough. They''re from Whole Foods, and I ate the entire box before we got home. When we went back the next day, I bought six more boxes. They should last me the week.
Um, YUM! Why would most of us find them disgusting? Weird ingredients or something?

lol you poor thing...Reminding me of Office Space.
Hehe.

''It''s not that I''m lazy. It''s that I just don''t care.'' (one of my favorite lines for the movie)
EXACTLY! My boss left me a note on my desk today and at the end it says "That would be great, thanks..." not meaning to quote Office Space but it cracked me up. Ummmm yeaaaaaah, I''m gonna need you to come in on Saturday. And then again on Sunday too. That would be greattttttttttttt, thanks! If I were him, I''d just leave the computer on (screw it) and get the heck outa there.....lol

I would just like to say that I''ve had the flu for the past 3 days and I''ve done nothing but lurk (and occasionally post) on PS and watch Good Old Gold videos. I must say, I really don''t want to go back to work tomorrow. I would, however, like to continue to receive paychecks. So I probably should.
I am so sorry you''re sick! What a great excuse to relax, though

I want to trademark the phrase, "In this economy". The way I see it, since news organizations, the banking industry, and Oprah can''t go five minutes without uttering it during a broadcast, I figure I can make so much in royalties that I''d be able to buy each and every one of my PS friends a Cartier rolling ring for their 1,000th post.

Are there any good tv shows that come on tonight? Wednesday TV seems so boring..

I heard a rumor that there''s a new South Park tonight, but I could be wrong.

LOST is not new this week.

If I get desperate, I guess I can watch America''s Next Top Model...

LOL--that''s what the TTC & Pregnant PSer threads are for!
Ha! Very true. My mom, also, poor thing. She hears about it all! It''s kind of fun to guess what she''ll admit to being grossed out by.

Something random but kind of funny: My husband brought home a garden gnome from Target today for the backyard. Pug (in icon) heard another dog barking in a distant yard, and is now convinced it was the gnome. She''s been in the backyard a few times since and will bark at the gnome, waiting for it to bark back.

(She isn''t the sharpest tool in the shed, but we love her!)
HA! That is fantastic. I <3 garden gnomes.
EBree, you MUST take a video of any interactions between your dog and said gnome.

My husband''s also in love with gnomes. We have two, one is named Tomkins but I can''t remember the other''s name. One is pocket-size and traveled all around New Zealand with us on our honeymoon. Got lots of great pictures of that!!

Have you watched "Lie to Me"? It''s pretty good. Can''t stand the woman that used to be on another law show, but she''s avoidable. Musey, is correct, there''s a new South Park... just TIVO''d it for FI. I haven''t seen the one before it either, so pretty stoked about that.

That is awesome! I got my dad a ceramic garden gnome for Christmas one year. It lives in his office and models various hats and sunglasses that people leave there.

Will do. Now here's a question for you, how excited are you for DB's wedding?! It's coming up fast!!! Is she making you guys do your makeup or hair specifically? (I have this image in my head of her expecting you to have makeup and hair like Ariel since your hair is reddish.)

OMG!!! Can you imagine if she made her BMs dress up like the princesses they most resemble?! You'd be in a shell top with a tail...

My imagination is OUT OF CONTROL today!!!

Um, YUM! Why would most of us find them disgusting? Weird ingredients or something?

Weird ingredients indeed. I've got several food intolerances I'm paying careful attention to due to the pregnancy and so I'm banned from eating normal chocolate chip cookies. These particular cookies are gluten, egg, dairy, and peanut free. They're basically rice flour cookies with semi-sweet chocolate chips, but they taste just normal enough to make me happy. That particular company also makes a thick vanilla icing (which is generally gluten and dairy free anyway, even the Betty Crocker kind!) I want to buy to dip them in. Mmmmmmmmm.

Can someone send me a garden gnome? I've always wanted one. Especially since Amelie...

...and I've never seen one here!!!

Tomkins is a fantastic name for a gnome.
I completely agree. Hubs deserves all the credit for that.

I named the other one. You know, the one with the name so fantastic that I cant even remember it. That one.

I''m jet lagged, east bound. So I can''t sleep at night and am a monster in the mornings. I''m usually a morning person. It''s actually pissing rain non stop all week.
I just made a lovely batch of chocolatey caramel squares. I ate one and am now a very happy little camper.
My dog is obviously in the middle of some kind of wacko dream.
I think next Wednesday will be my last round of dress shopping.
I''m trying to convince someone to go to see The King and I with me next week.
I dressed up a little pretty today for funsies and enjoyed myself immensly. I like those rarish days where I feel the urge to get out of jeans.

Here you go, Freke!

Okay I don''t know (but I''d so willingly be Ariel)... all I know is that we''re all getting our hair done by the same stylist (um, all 4 bridesmaids and 2 moms for an 11am wedding
33.gif
how that makes sense, I will never know) and that "a french twist will be $50." I don''t know if that was just for cost estimating purposes, or if I will be expected to wear a french twist. I''d rather wear it down, but whatevs. Bigger fish and all that I suppose...

OMG!!! Can you imagine if she made her BMs dress up like the princesses they most resemble?! You''d be in a shell top with a tail...

Now THAT is a wedding I could get behind!! Santa dresses in spring? Not quite as much. But COSTUMES?! Sign me up!!!!!!

How DARE they??

Here''s my random thought right now. Its almost tax time. I haven''t done a thing. I''ve never had to do taxes on my own before. I know I won''t have to pay anything in, and will likely get a return, but for some reason, I just don''t want to deal with doing them. I''m stuck on the attitude that - I''d like to just keep ignoring it and maybe it''ll go away. (bad sentiment, I know, esp w/ the IRS, but I can''t help myself) Ok. Random thought over.

I''m ridiculous, I know.
