As requested, attached are photos of three pairs of my earrings. The stones are demantoid garnets, spessartite garnets and moonstones...three stones I happen to like and that we also have in pendants. I retired 18 months ago, and have worn earrings about three times since. I have problems with studs and I didn't want diamonds added, so the style is unadorned. The moonstones were originally studs and were purchased online about 10 years ago. The spessartites came as a pair and the demantoids were chosen for closeness of color and carat weight. They are both pears, but one is a slightly different. I don't claim that any of the stones we have are perfect...just that they are good representations of their species. In some of our pendants, in fact, several shades of the gem color are represented, rather than having all of them of the "ideal" color.
