So I’ve got sovery expensive life events going on and figured it was probably time to purge, stash some cash, and

1. I have this 14k yellow gold high dome wedding band from James Allen. I’m pretty certain it’s a size 6.5 but I can’t remember at this point. Asking $160 via F&F + $8 shipping. Insurance can be added for extra.

3. 6 ct PS quality lab tennis bracelet from IDJ - 6.75” in 14k YG. I’m thinking IDJ can add links if you want this larger but please inquire with them cause I don’t actually know/ never asked. $2750 via F&F + $8 shipping. Insurance can be added for extra. I highly suggest adding insuranceNo link cause they don’t have links for their lab tennis bracelets with PS quality lab diamonds (it’s an extra charge). But I paid $3500 this year.

I don’t think anyone’s going to buy rings with no return options without knowing exact sizes. Can you grab a mandrel off Amazon?

I’ll work on getting exact sizing for anyone who’s interested. I’m also purging the house so we got stuff everywhere. But there should be some kind of record somewhere.

@737liz I'm the one who bought the ring! It's gorgeous.... and I might be interested in selling it to you. I recently tried on a rainbow Love ring, and I have to have one! But I only need/wear one RHR at a time. I attached my listings, my contact info is on them. I'd sell it to you for what I paid, plus shipping/insurance. It's such an amazing price for over 2ct of diamonds, but... when I have too much I have to admit it! :lol:

She is pretty! Too bad for me something higher priority popped up unexpectedly. I’d definitely just stick her in the safe otherwise.
 
Bump - I know I’ve said this before but this is really the final reduction on the tennis bracelet. Trying to finance some unpaid time off of work next year without dipping into savings since I’ll likely leave before we get our bonuses & I’ll have to wait til I come back to get it.

It’s $2550 via F&F. You could probably get it plated but I would ask a jeweler about how well that would hold up. I’ve only done it once to a part of my ring that did not touch skin. Not sure how often you’d need to do it on a bracelet.
 
Going to drop this to $2450 OBO via F&F for a PS-er.

I finally announced my pregnancy to my boss and she reminded me that PTO does not accrue when you’re on maternity leave. I had completely forgot about that so my maternity leave is looking like a longer period of unpaid time than I initially expected…. It took me forever to get pregnant with this kid, I’m trying to keep him out of daycare for the first year of his life at a minimum (unless covid vaccines come out for infants).

I found out I was pregnant after buying the ACA so I’m trying to beef up the savings/ keep what we have to pull out of savings while I’m on maternity leave to a minimum.
 
Congrats on your pregnancy! If you are able to spend the first year together that will be so great for both of you.

Thank you! I’m really hoping that’s how it pans out. I didn’t think we’d get pregnant and had all my eggs in the foster to adopt basket, so I hadn’t actually really hashed out the plan until just recently…

Not getting back all our money when the adoption agency decided they no longer wanted to do foster care adoptions did not help.
 
Well if it makes you feel any better, when I got pregnant with our first son it was a total surprise. I was stressed most of the pregnancy because I knew I wanted to be a SAHM but wasn’t sure if we could swing it financially.

I’ve been home 14 years this year, our sons are 7 years apart :)

Sorry to hear about losing money from the adoption agency, that really stinks.
