Life is too short ...

That’s tragic @dk168, I hope your friend didn’t suffer.

She died on the scene, so hopefully did not suffer.

She died doing what she loved best which is a comfort to know.

Thinking of you DK, and sorry for your loss.
This reminds me to reach out to my friends.

It’s awful and I’m sorry for your loss.

This advice gave me some comfort when I was grieving a loss. Whenever I felt sad I would take a deep breathe and picture myself coming out of the wave and it helped. I hope it helps you too. Take care.

Sorry for your sudden loss, @dk168 . Unfortunately, it often takes losses such as this to remind us to live life fully. Take care.

I’m so very sorry to hear this, life is so unpredictable. My sincerest condolences to you .

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

DK :))

Thinking of you. So sorry for your loss. Sometimes I do things in honour of those I have lost. Something they loved.

Can we really say life it too short?

I've never heard a single complaint from those finished living.

Kenny, I wish I could disagree with you, but sadly, I cannot. My wife complained several times about wanting to die. She hated what Alzheimer's was doing to her and she wanted out.

I know if I could have talked with her after she went into a coma, or especially after she died, she would have been dancing a happy death dance. I suspect if we could have talked with DK's friend, she might have registered a complaint or three.

@dk168, I am sorry for your loss. I can only recommend you let it encourage you to live your life more fully.

Thanks Wink, and I am sorry to hear you lost your wife to the dreadful Alzheimer's. :(2

It is ironic that my friend died before me, as I now need to find another person(s) as my decision maker(s) in the event I am incapacitated.

I am definitely going to live life to the full as much as I can. Still planning ahead travelling wise, as I cannot cramp in all the destinations I would like to visit in a short time.

Life goes on, and my friend would not expect anything less from me.

DK :))
