Okay. So "for science" I ordered a 2 carat in blue. Unfortunately, I'd say the color has a bit of a green-blue vibe, though mostly blue. It is a very pretty stone IMO, and a bit of a chimera (looks different in different lighting). It sparkles beautifully but I can't help but feel a bit let down by the color, definitely not as 'pure blue' as a regular blue diamond. The color reminds me a bit of the greenish blue that moissanite can have. Will likely return, but we will see if it grows on me.

Starting with a video, nicely sparkly IMO:

I hope this helps out anyone who is thinking about getting one, hopefully it gives you a good idea of what you can expect!

I think it is really pretty! Does the receipt say if it "as grown" or "post growth treatment".

I don't know! I'll have to look into it. I don't know if Lightbox does post growth treatment or not...

Oh dear.. I ordered a 1 c blue n it's still on its way here.

I had a greenish Tiffany blue from NWD... And had hoped the the LB is a pale baby blue... *smack forehead*.

Now I might have to find ways to return it since I used consolidated shippping to my country... *Haiz*

Thank you so much for posting! Since the larger blues came out I have been so curious as to what shade of blue they would be. This is very helpful!

I got two 2ct blues to check them out. I think the color is pretty good, maybe a teeny bit more on the green side than purple side as far as blues go but not much. Here they are next to a 2ct pendant.

Here they are from the side next to a window with the light shining in. The other two are the 2ct pendant and 1.75ct loose stone. I think I’m going to return the 2ct pendant because it’s more yellow from the side. Haven’t decided on the blues, they are such a good price for what you get! But I’m not even sure what I would do with it other than stare at it.

Thanks, I have a moissy in that color and I love it. Understand why someone who is looking for blue-blue might not, tho.

Nice blue! I am hoping mine is lighter blue. Btw did u buy a pair? What are your plans for them? Are u setting them into earrings?

Thank you! I am thinking either a ring or a pendant at this point. I have small ear lobes so anything over 1 carat per earring overwhelms them. I am thinking about maybe a cocktail ring w/a white diamond halo to really show off the blue?

Yes, I noticed that fancy colour diamonds looks better with a white halo. My fancy blue was done without a blue and I regretted not having one. The picture at the last part here : https://addicted2diamonds.blogspot.com/2021/04/ouros-jewels-etsy-review-2021-april.html?m=1

I see a lot of green in that. VERY pretty though!

it's beautiful! But I can see what you mean about a halo. I think if I do a halo I'll need to make it a RHR since that will be a lot of bling for me on one finger lol, might suit me more as a cocktail ring instead of adding it to my never ending e-ring sets.

Yes. In some lighting looks more blue other lighting looks very teal/blue-green. But I think I'm starting to love the stone a lot, I've compared it to moissy and the diamond just has much more depth and 'crispness' to it, plus I prefer the diamond's sparkle. Also way more sparkly than a sapphire.

Hmm. Took the stone out today and she’s looking a lot bluer than I realized. Maybe it was the lighting yesterday. Leaning towards keeping the stone now, it really is beautiful. A5433CA9-3507-4088-A537-3B20C48D297B.jpeg0541FD18-A138-43F8-AF2F-D8809ED6CC80.jpeg

Happy to report that my 1c blue lightbox arrived and I am very pleased with it!

It is of a lighter shade of blue than the one I purchased from NWD. However since it is night time now.. I cant tell if its blue green or blue..

Poor lighting n my skin looks much darker. But this blue is what I was hoping for! Too bad I don't have the aset and ideal scope with me right now..

Noticed that the LB is smaller than my NWD although it's both 1c.

Should I get the pink next... Hummm...

Looks lovely! I’m glad you are pleased with the color! What will you do with it? Halo? And yes… get the pink, you’ll love it too.

Yes with halo.. My ring collection is expanding so fast! Oops!

Hahaha yes I hope that I will not regret getting the pink. The LB pink I had last time was very dark n I had hoped for a light blush pink. I returned it since its not what I am looking for.
