Lightbox Loose Stones up to 2ct Just Became Available

Can we see a photo not in sunlight or spot light. Under a broad leaffy treat etc

It’s out of my possession right now! It’s currently hidden until the proposal! But I will be sure to post more pics when the time comes!

Here is my inexpensive gents 2ct diamond solitaire ring with lightbox basics 2.05ct stone.

My jeweler thought it was in the L-M color range when looking at it next to his color grading set. Bought a 10kt yellow gold cz solitaire on ebay with 8mm stone and my jeweler set the lightbox one with minimal bezel work. Photos don’t do justice its a lively looking diamond.

Thrilled for around $1600 all in with diamond plus ring mounting and labor.

$1200 minus 10% coupon for lightbox basics 2ct is a steal if you’re not picky and it’s in stock.

@tradr wow! It looks amazing!! I love it! Enjoy!!

great - your black camera / phone may be too close?
Move away a bit and zoom in or put some white paper over the camera.
Blocking a lot of light makes the diamond appear dark

@Garry H (Cut Nut) I took a video of my LB 2ct in natural daylight (with and without shade as I’m walking) for science and your viewing pleasure. It’s in motion but figured you can pause it if needed.
I know you’re the expert here and I’m not sure how this is “performing” compared to higher quality stones but I’m in love and now looking to purchase an ideal cut (or close to it) to compare it to.
2ct LB daylight

And bonus pic that jeweler provided of my brothers 2ct LB stone magnified

Video is too far away to see much. But the photos indicates a pavilion angle around 41 degrees and a crown angle 33-34 degress with about 58% table. That is all great.

I returned two stones to that address and also thought it was weird to have the word jewelry on it but they both made it back safely and my refund was processed.

Has anyone bought more than one Lightbox stone looking for a better color/cut? I have one set of Lightbox earrings and the color was excellent but I'm a little scared of these recent color gradings...

I recently purchased 2 looking for my brother's ER project. They were equally sparkly and I got them assessed by my jeweler and he estimated they were the same color grading as well. We ended up selecting the stone that had less inclusions and a slightly better table/depth ratio although both stones were beyond eye clean and equally sparkly (as well as same carat weight and 8mm on the nose). I have heard from others on this forum that the stones they have received are noticeably different and of higher/lower quality but that was not my experience when ordering 2 together (perhaps they were matched for an earring since I ordered them together? not sure).

I will say that the 2 stones we received were arguably more warm and slightly less sparkly than a stone I had ordered a few months ago but not by much.

This is my Lightbox Basics 1.75 stone set in a solitaire and I had my local jeweler modify an old ring guard taking up space in my jewelry box to fit around it to create a three stone effect.

Ah I see. Still looks like mostly ~1 carat or smaller. Hopefully they're working on larger sizes. Baguette is only 1/2 carat, boo.

Ooh this is a good size to me. Great size for side stones! I hope the half carats are still there when it's project time for me next. I'll be needing like 4 of them :D

I saw that! Can't wait to see people's new projects :)

Since I can’t justify the expense of an OMC or a cut I love from Distinctive Gem right now, it’s really tempting to get the new cuts from Lightbox and to do something with them for fun. I should just go read a book for entertainment ;)

Can’t wait to see real life pictures of the cushion from someone!

Good morning/evening lab diamond lovers!

Loose stones just became available on the LB website up to 2cts! Currently only MRB, and the biggest ones are not their "extra special" category... but they're available to order!

I would loooove to see a 2ct. emerald cut MMD at this price! Especially if it were a great stone.

Got my 2 carat Lightbox diamond set in a pendant by David Klass with a rose gold chain. I've always wanted a 2 carat diamond pendant but wouldn't have ever paid for a natural one, but I'm quite happy with this. Not the perfect cut - leakage under the table - but I think it's still just fine for a pendant.

DK weighed the diamond as 2.05 carats, and said it looked like F VS1. I am skeptical that it's F color but it is certainly pretty white.

It's lovely. I had mine made into a 2 carat ring and I'll have to share it. Once again, cut isn't perfect but it's pretty darn good. Love your pendant. :)

Has anyone ordered one of the 2ct loose pink or blue stones lately? I know i'm not supposed to take on any more projects, but I'm tempted...

I did! I ended up not keeping it because I scrapped the project I had in mind, but I thought it was really nicely cut and a great color.

I just received my 2ct Lightbox, and at first impressions, I’m very pleased!! Dropping it off to have it set later today. Pictured next to my mined VVS2 L oval, and my mined VS1 H-I OEC.
For the price, you totally can’t beat it. It’s gorgeous.

Gorgeous! Have your jeweler assess its clarity and color and provide us feedback!

15% cashback on Rakuten for Cyber Monday and Lightbox has added the 2ctw studs to the items eligible for 20% off. $1360 net for a pair is tempting!
