Can't help but think of the similarity with the film Die Hard 2, in that a single ? obscure point of failure can take out a major airport!
The fire has been put out, and power is gradually returning to the airport, and flights had started to arrive and take off now.
Investigation is still ongoing to establish how the fire started.
I hope they will identify other single points of failure to minimise a repeat of the chaos as experienced by all concerned.
It could have been worse - it could have happened on Thursday before the Easter long weekend!
