Thanks! So I only have basic specs, apparently my mom and the fiancé were in cohoots with each other. My father passed away when I was 12, my mother had her e ring in a safe deposit box for years and years. She and the fiance decided it would be nice to use her stone for the ring, it's now our first family heirloom. Now I get to take a part of my father everywhere

The appraisal that we have is from the 1970s, it reads that the center stone is a 1.2 carat brilliant round, H, VS1. It was reset in a Stuller platinum halo setting with pave around the halo and band (stones in the setting are G-H SI1). We are getting it re-appraised next week so we shall see!
