That's so funny about the long-lost sisters thing! Don't forget to add that both our cats were close to being euthanized before we got them as well!

The newest member is an Oliver - I thought it was yours till I saw the cat was older and not a kitten! Snowshoes can look so different ('cept for the face mask of some sort and the cute white feet!). Chloe is mostly white, but she's got black and brown markings on one of her legs that ends at her foot. She's also CLEARLY part Siamese, as snowshoes are...that cat will talk, talk talk. Incessantly. So cute. Especially when you realize that cats only meow to communicate with humans. They don't do that with other cats. So clearly she has a lot to say to me.

I love their vibrant blue eyes as well.

Ohhhhh! Oliver is such a cutie (those eyes are just gorgeous)! He sounds like he''s such a lovey kitten!

Your "older ladies" are adorable, and they look like they get along so great! I hope Oliver doesn''t upset the "kitty balance" in your house too much (or for too long), lol! Hopefully, before long, they''ll all be best friends!

FG - Chloe is GORGEOUS - such a little cutie, I just want to reach through the monitor and pet her!

I''m going to work on putting a picture of little Oliver on that site, although we don''t know for sure that he is a "real" snowshoe, however, according to at least one website I found, the snowshoe breed is just a cross between a Siamese and an American shorthair, and you can outcross them with those as well, so I think under that definition the odds are very high that that''s what he is. Funny in some of the pictures now that I''m looking at them again I''m wondering if I see a tiny bit of tabby striping on his little side - its hard to tell, and it might be the light, but I''ll take a closer look when I get home.

Kerbear - thanks so much, he is a total little cutie love, we are so lucky to have found him!

I just hope our girls can be persuaded to agree with me soon...

MelissaSue - don''t worry about not reading through, it was kind of a complicated story, but I didn''t feel right taking down the picture of the first little guy. Oliver is a little lover-boy though - we really are happy to have him. How is little Ella doing?
