Fi won't be home until Thursday, so we won't be able to see him until then! I stare at his picture everyday though. I love that he's so tiny his stripes aren't in yet. I have a feeling his will be subtle anyway though, he looks more blue mitted than lynx. Thanks for your sweet comments everyone! I have two DSH rescue kitties that are my pride and joy, and my only worry is that one especially will feel slighted. My vet already wanted to put him on Reconcile (apparently it's the feline version of Prozac?) because he has such bad separation anxiety that when I leave he cries at the door all night and gets physically sick. I have him on Flagyl, Pepcid, and Proviable to control his vomiting. He doesn't eat much when I'm not home and then when I get back he gobbles his food down so fast he doesn't chew and then instantly vomits. I swear, it's almost passive-aggressive behavior. When I'm home (I'm a nurse and work overnights) he is constantly underfoot and literally nuzzles underneath me when I sleep so that he's stuck to my body under the covers, and if I'm gone too long he starts decompensating and won't even groom himself. He's such a love and was abandoned at 10 years old after his owners went through the trouble of moving from another country with him and paying for an expensive surgery to stop his urinary tract from blocking. I worry that bringing a kitten home would devastate him. I've wanted a ragbaby for so long but I also have to do what's right for the animals I have already. My other cat is young and I think she'd love a kitten to play with, she's still very playful and kittenish. It took a couple of months for my older cat to accept her. I've been telling myself that if a blue lynx mitted became available I'd take it as a sign and now that he's right here in front of me I'm feeling a bit guilty!

Lynn, we're lucky enough to have several TICA/CFA accredited ragdoll breeders in my area, but the blues are still hard to come by and can take months to a couple of years for the parent cats to breed a blue baby. Most of the breeders in this area are into the new trends like chocolate points and torties.

He is so cute - he looks like a kitty doll!
