I'm feeling more confident that the proposal is getting closer. Not CLOSE CLOSE, but it's in reach!!

This weekend my FF and I went to the lake with my family and had a blast! Then yesterday we went to his families house to celebrate the fourth. Of course we got "so when are ya'll getting married?" from one of his cousins and normally he stays quite and looks at me to respond. At first neither one of us replied and she said "I mean ya'll have discussed getting married in the distant future.." and my man pipes up saying "Not TOO DISTANT." Ah...this made me oh so happy...

So..on the car ride home we were discussing when we would like to get married and he mentioned next Fall/Winter (2007). He knows I would like around a year long engagement to plan etc...so I think it will be coming before the year is over!! YAY YAY YAY...I'm so ecstatic!

Nothing is written in stone, and plans can always change due to finances and whatnot but i'm still thrilled that it will be "Sooner rather than later." Those are his words. So I thought I would share with ya'll wonderful ladies!

Now I need to look over my notes for my final I have later tonight!

I guess this is somewhat of an update. Not really tho...

So last week I was busy out of town being a camp counselor for my Church's summer camp. It was nice and many campers came to know the Lord, so I was thrilled.

I had to take a week vacation off from work, although it was not a vacation at all!!

Nonetheless, I had a good time, but was SOOOOOO ready to come home to my honey!!

I missed him soooo much. I guess I have gotten spoiled to having only around a 7 minute drive to him. When Friday came and he picked me up at the church I was elated!!!

Even though it had only been 5 days, he looked so handsome and I couldn't wait to hug and kiss him. We talked daily and nightly while I was away, but I just missed being with him. I guess what they say is true that absence does make the heart grow fonder. I don't know how some of ya'll LD ladies do it! Props to you.

Anyways..not much of an update...owell

Roseangel, YAY for your time at camp. I just love seeing people grow and mature in their faith. Such a great journey. It's energizing for our own walks, huh?

As for missing your boy, I know what you mean. Paul and I are long distance and only see one another every weekend, and going from that to spending over two weeks with him was WONDERFUL, but then last night, knowing we'd be parting ways again until the weekend, I caught him with tears in his eyes. Melts my heart that he wants us to be together just as much as I do! I'm glad you're back with your sweetie boy.

RoseAngel- YAY!! And welcome to the "proposal by ''07" unofficial group! There are actually several of us in this timeframe- so it will be fun to see everyone get engaged... then we can all be on the BIW list and brainstorm planning ideas- YAY!

Fisherofmengirly- You''re right, it was very uplifting to hear the messages brought to the campers. Glad to hear that you were able to spend two weeks with you''re man! I''m sure ya''ll enjoyed your time together.

Caligal- We will see if the proposal will come by 2007. I am wishing & hoping, but there has been no timeline "talk" regarding a deadline. I''m not a fan of giving my man a "deadline" but I know that he will propose when finances and everything else is lined up or as some say when all of our ducks are in a row!! I''m just eager to start the planning and spending the rest of our lives together.
