Looking for a delicate baguette and round combo ring

Happy Saturday, All! We're looking for a delicate wedding band to pair with my engagement ring. I'd like something that combines baguettes with round diamonds, but I'm always concerned that ordering delicate + stock items = dull diamonds. The general look I'm going for is something like this:

I do know something that small will need to be babied a bit - that's okay. Has anyone on here purchased something similar that you were happy with? We've gone a few hundred over budget for the engagement ring, so I'm trying to minimize the cost of the band. I'd like to stay under $500 for the purchase.

The above ring is from Aurora Designer on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/596618040/baguette-diamond-ring-round-cut

I'd appreciate any suggestions you all have!

I had one from IDJ- I loved it. I sold it to a PS'er when I went from a MRB to an OEC E-ring. I would reach out to Yekutiel...

For something that delicate, just know that it will really really not be durable. A simple carrying of an bag or lifting a heavy items may warp it and cause the loss of the diamonds.

But, to help hedge against that, I would look at hand-forged (not cast). Hand forging provides more work-hardening of the metal allowing them to go thinner (along with lots of other benefits). Victor Canera, Steven Kirsch, Maytal Hannah, IDJ, DiamondsbyLauren and others have a hand-forged option. They may or may not be willing to make something quit that thin, but you should talk with hand-forgers directly to get their opinion. I seriously doubt you will find it for under $500.

BTW: great selection!! I have two baguette alternating with rounds bands. My WR & my first Anni are baguette/round bands. My second band, gifted to me for my Bday is also that same pattern, only channel set.
None of my bands are quite as delicate as yours, but my Anni is the thinnest of the 3.

I really like your set (and the story that accompanied it - your husband sounds very thoughtful!). I've also looked at at few bezel set baguette/round bands that are quite pretty, so that's an option if we decide to go a little thicker.

I know you said no channel set, but not all channel set rings are created equal. So, have a look at some hand-forged ones. I don't think this french-cut band reads a "80s thick wall channel" setting.

I also wonder if they could use a bead/bar option in a channel. So, think pave bead for the rounds and bars for the baguettes. So, imagine solid metal walls and inside those walls are bead and bar set diamonds. That outer wall will help greatly with strength.

Example from Victor Canera, 2.1 mm wide but does not mention height.

Another option would be to look at die-struck makers as die stricking also adds hugely to durability (massive pressure is good in the forming). Whitehouse Brothers is a big name.

I hear you re: durability, which is making me think hard about this one. I'm going to wait to purchase something until my engagement ring comes in (should be in about three weeks)... I like the way this particular style looks, but when paired with the e-ring it may be better to get either a plain band or one that is engraved but doesn't have any stones in it. I'm just being impatient. :)

Oh whoops I misread again! Sorry.

I LOVE that second VC band!

I just got a 1 mm thick pavé eternity band from Ferko’s fine jewelry. They have an Etsy store and a website. It was like $270. I have no idea what quality the diamonds are, but they are SO tiny that no one else is able to tell either . The prongs will definitely catch on things and I’m not sure how durable it will end up being, but it’s working for me for now! I view it as more of a temporary ring until I figure out how I want to set my replacement e-ring permanently, but I’ve worn it every day for about 5 weeks now with no issues.

ETA so my point was that you could check out ferko’s for something delicate yet cheap.

Sigh - those VC rings are gorgeous. And I actually don't mind channel set...if the stones look good, it doesn't really matter to me. I hadn't thought about Whitehouse Brothers...I'll check their site!

Btw - Rockysalamander: thank you again for all of your suggestions re: my e-ring CAD last week. I shared all of them with the jeweler who said the specifics were very helpful. I'm expecting a revised CAD early this week. :)

Happy to help. My bling budget was sent to my son's private school for tuition, so I'm living vicariously through others. ;)2=)2

Ha! I hear you. My soon-to-be husband comes with two girls (12 and 15). I'm lucky because they are WONDERFUL kids, but sheesh - they're expensive. ;)
