I know I'm kind of beating a dead horse but I am looking for a princess cut diamond for an engagement ring. I've been on this forum for about a week now racking my brain and looking on diamond websites but am still having some problems. I have a budged around $6000 - $6500 and I am just wondering what I can get for this. I want at least a carat or bigger and a very good cut with maybe at least a VS2 and H. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

This seems like a steal, am I missing something?

EGL stones will seem like a steal, but they are priced wrt actual grades, not what the paper says
 
ok so what would be a reasonable size to shoot for in that price range and quality?

or should be looking for something smaller like 1.05 - 1.10?
 
thanks this is very helpful, for the last one would you not recommend it since there are no pictures or does it still seem like a good buy? and does goodoldgold and whiteflash only sell diamonds or can they make a rings as well?

Maybe this G VS2 is my favorite of this bunch.

I know the pictures will come soon, and it is an AGS stone, so it''s probably nice. GOG carries a lot of designer lines, and WF has a great custom bench.
