Hello everyone,

I’m looking for any input about the quality and value of this piece of tourmaline. It is set in 14K yellow and rose gold. It is from the 1940’s or the 1950’s. The tourmaline has some very small dents that are shown under 10x magnification. I know tourmaline can really vary in price, and I’m not experienced when it comes to judging the quality of such stones. I’d really appreciate any input about the quality of this piece and any guesses on its possible retail value range.

Thank you for the help!

That color is not particularly rare or valuable, The whole stone might fetch $300 on the secondary market. That price doesn’t include the gold.

Pretty ring.

Ok. Thank you for the info!

Well I’d probably pay around $800 for the ring if it was listed on eBay.

Yes, my valuation was based on the stone alone. That’s a heavy gold mounting.

That is a pretty ring and (again) the setting is so cool :kiss2:
