Hi gang. My sister and I have been on a mission to find a unique ring for my girlfriend, and I think we''ve settled on this one from Gebruder Schaffrath. Our thinking was that my girlfriend likes modern but simple, classic jewelry, and this seemed to fit the bill. It would come with a 1.05 carat stone, F color, very fine cut and clarity. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the help!

Very pretty ring.

Your description of the diamond leaves a lot of room. You might want to pin them down a bit more on the details of the stone. It makes a big difference in both the price and the look of the piece. 'Very fine' is a dealer assigned grade and their idea of what constitutes very fine may be quite different from yours.

Ditto Sir Neil, more info on the diamond would be helpful such as the basic proportions - depth, table, angles and so on.

Its a very nice setting, I really like it.

Thanks for the kind advice. They did provide me with infinitely more detail on the diamond, I simply don''t have the details with me (we''re snowed in today!). But it does come from a trusted jeweler in town that several friends have recommended and had great experiences with.

I''ll try to add more detail when possible. I guess my main question today was less about the diamond and more about the setting -- I wanted to see what the wonderful PS gang thought of that. Thanks again...!

Stay safe in that snow!!!

No problem, if you would like us to comment on the diamond you could either post the report number assuming it is AGS or GIA graded or post all the details from the report when you have them.

I think the setting is stunning, I really like the lines and the half bezel setting.
