Thanks LLJsmom! It's not a very large stone (1.4ct) by PS standards so not sure if it merits its own SMTB thread. I may post some photos here and there, though. I am super happy with it, it's the right size for my lifestyle and location (majority of the people I know IRL have 1ct at most but then they get E VVS1 or the like, this is an I VS2). I may use WF's upgrade policy once I reach my 40s as I can see myself totally rocking a 2ct+ once I'm a bit older and wiser!

Mochiko, please start your own thread. 1.45 is a very healthy carat weight-even if it was a very small stone, every gorgeous piece deserves it's own thread. We love all the sizes of diamonds! Your ring is gorgeous and I would love love love to see more pics!!!!

My most recent bling purchase was a few days ago and it is my gift from my dh for the holidays. A Chanukah and Christmas combo gift.
Antique sapphire diamond earrings. I am not a colored gem expert so I don't know the quality of the sapphires but I think they are super pretty and I love the shape of the earrings and the soft glowy antique diamonds that surround them and well when I saw them I sort of fell in love with them. A totally spontaneous impulse purchase as I was not planning on buying any bling this month. Impulsive for me since I did have to think about it for 2 hours after seeing them so my dh and I were walking around the precious town (one of my favorites) and I was thinking about it while they held the earrings for me. That is as impulsive as I get LOL. Plus I had PSers helping along the way during that time and they were advising and enabling me the whole way. You know who you are and thank you.

I love the color of these sapphires and the way the earrings dangled. They look beautiful on your ear, missy! Happy holidays!

A Princess Diana sapphire ring! 3.9 carat oval sapphire (heat treated) with ~1.5ctw E/F VS round diamonds.

Gorgeous ring, truly fit for a princess The proportions of the sapphire and the melee look just right, too.

I got this cameo with garnets from Austria for Christmas. My mom has a garnet bangle and got me this ring.

Thanks for the encouragement, luv2sparkle (and also LLJsmom, missy, Marquise Madness) - it means a lot to me considering the amazing pieces that all of you have posted about. After seeing all the giant rocks on PS I think I got a little shy about starting a separate thread. It's also smaller than my former OEC so maybe that's why I was feeling a little self-conscious about since it's not a size upgrade (although upgrade in color). It's funny because IRL my diamond is bigger than most of the ones I see in my real-life circles yet on PS it feels like a tiny rock!

Just shared on the bling thread, but why not share here too! I'm so excited with my upgrade (I previously had a Tiffany inspired 6 prong with 0.96 RB). This is 15th anniversary/40th birthday upgrade. Not as fancy quality wise as some of your beautiful stones, but my husband chose it, and I love it! I never thought I'd get over 2 carats.

Wow - I must admit that I am surprised but it looks gorgeous! I recently saw a VC Emilya in person. It was much more refined and delicate in person than I would have imagined.
