I bought it from a PSer so I don't have a jeweler to take it to for repair. Anyone have suggestions on how to find a good jeweler in my area to repair it?

That stinks (but happens). Asking around is the only way I can think of finding a good jeweler or maybe if you dont
mind posting your location someone on PS might be able to suggest a jeweler.

I'd always choose a high end independent jeweler for repairs as they should have a better chance of having a decent bench. I'd never use a chain for repairs.

There is one of Paul's Infinity dealers in Naperville.

Since he carefully vets his dealers and Sir John conducts training with them I would try there.

Thank you!

If you are willing to make your way downtown, take it to Dimend SCAASI in the jewelry building. They do fantastic bench work - they fixed, resized ... a whole whack of things for me during my year in Chicago. I wish they were local to me.

In the same building, they also have My Diamond Zone who also does great work. I had them size a platinum ring from size 9 down to 3 for me. You couldn't even tell.

If you want cheap, go to Cathy's Jewelry Repair (same building) but I wont take anything nice there. I would absolutely use them for rhodium plating because that can't go wrong (around $5-$10).
