The

bath

was wonderful.
No wine, sorry, not with the meds I'm on!
I'm not getting the migraine at the same intensity so that's great.

As far as the MONSTER goes, he hasn't asserted himself into my face since Saturday the 24th. I hope this means he's on his way out the door. I still have *some* facial pain but not to the same extent. Doc says to give it another week, and to keep tracking it on a log.

All in all, pretty good progress over the past week.

As for me, I''m enjoying a nice bowl of homemade chili. A friend pressed me to take a container of chili and a whole bunch of veggies after she made a last-minute decision to go visit a friend in another state. The chili is delicious! But... it''s loaded with whole peppercorns!

I went on a search and remove mission after biting into the first few and removed (let''s see... 1, 2, 3...) 17 so far

from this one little bowl! And I''m still finding them the hard way! I guess I should be grateful though since those peppercorns are forcing me to really slow down -- kinda kinda like little chili speed bumps -- so I''m enjoying the chilli more.

I hope you enjoyed this evening''s monologue.

And I''m very glad that things are beginning to look up for you!

Woke up this morning with just a headache, NO migraine!
My neck isn''t as stiff since my bath yesterday! YAY
My balance function is once again, functioning! (no more falling down!)
My hearing on the left side is still working! YAY!!

It''s now DAY FIVE with no monster.....(shhhhh don''t wake him up!!!!)

DAY SIX!

The MONSTER is still sleeping. I have residual problems with numbness and pain in the front of my mouth, from all the dental surgeries. But that big honkin'' ax handle is out of my face.

Another week and I''ll believe it for sure. For now, I''ll take 6 days running.

Btw, that incision will heal down flat in year and be no big deal.
