Congratulations Lotsofsparkle!!!

Your ring is soooooooo gorgeous!! It looks absolutely stunning on your hand! Definitely Lots of Sparkle!

So we are now both officially Tacori Girls...and you take WAY better pictures than I do!!! I''ll have to practice more tomorrow!

Thanks hun! I still can''t get over how gorgeous your ring is, please post more pictures soon!

Thanks again love!
Kayakqueen- you're very sweet, thank you!

Amber- Thanks hun! I do think it makes the stone look bigger but not too big that I wouldn't be able to wear it everyday (although I know some people who disagree). I think it's a good everyday size.

That is absolutely stunning! I haven''t dropped my jaw for a ring in a LONG time. Will have to show this one to J.
30.gif

PS: Do you know the style number for this baby, by any chance?
12.gif

Thanks Gwendolyn! Of course I know the style number, I had it memorized from all the googling and researching during my 4 week wait while it was being made. It''s Tacori 2628 RDP. The RD is for the ''round'' and the P for platinum. It''s also available for princess(PCP) and emerald(ERP) stones (although i''m sure they can custom make it to any stone shape) and it''s also available in 18k white gold too (I believe it was approx. $1500 less). Let me know if you have any more questions!
2.gif

Hahah, somehow I knew you wouldn''t disappoint with the style number! Do you mind sharing which vendor you bought the setting through? Am trying to get an idea of price and I know that there tends to be a bit of variance between dealers. Thanks for your help! That ring is such a beauty!!
18.gif

Hehe, no prob Gwen! I bought mine through a local BnM in LA because they offered me the best discount off the retail price. I know Tacori updates all their authorized retailers with a price list and it is really up to each store whether they offer a discount or not off the set retail price. I got a lot of quotes online including some from the vendors that are highly regarded by PS and no online vendor even came CLOSE to what my local BnM offered me (I know, strange huh?). Tacori just had a price increase at the end of Feb.
29.gif
so I believe the list price for this setting is now $7450 for platinum and $5890 for white gold. I know prices aren''t really disussed around here so I hope it''s ok that I posted that
23.gif
. If you''re interested in this setting, I suggest visiting all the local BnM stores in your area that carry Tacori (Tacori lists all authorized retailers on their website) and shop around for the best prices. Definitely don''t settle for retail. Hope this helped!
2.gif

Did you buy your Tacori directly from Tacori or at a jewelry store? I didn''t know that Tacori has it''s own ring box. I was told that the store who sells the Tacori would put the ring in their store name box.

ACK! Absolutely SLURPILICIOUS!!

The setting is divine, and makes the stones easily look like a 2-carater.

Congrats on the engagement too!

T.Asscher- Tacori doesn''t sell directly to the public, I bought mine through a local authorized jeweler. It came with a Tacori ring box and authenticity card with the store''s name printed on the card. I guess it''s up to the individual store whether they want to use the tacori box or their own.

HeartingD- haha, slurpilicious, what a perfect description! 2cts was what I was hoping for, until then I guess this will have to do. Thanks again!

HOLY CRAP! That is one EXTREMELY STUNNING RING. I adore it all, the BRIGHT center, delicate but size enhancing halo and those sidestones!! TDF!!! It does NOT look like a 1.3 ish carat center! I thought I was looking at a 2plus carat center.

Sorry I''m late to your thread, lotsofsparkle! Your new setting/ring is to die for! I love the trap sidestones, oh my goodness...I love everything about it. It looks spectacular on your hand (which is quite beautiful as well, I might add). Congrats on the new setting and wear it all in good health!!!
36.gif

Thanks Gypsy! 2+ carats, now we''re talkin! It must be the sidestones and the finger coverage that creates that illusion cause the halo, although it doesn''t look it from the pictures, is hardly there in real life.
4.gif

Monarch, no need to apologize silly! I''m just glad you like my ring...and my hands!! Most people I meet always just comment on how I have baby hands (and feet for that matter)!
2.gif
Thanks again!

of course it''s overcast when I''m trying to take some fire shots...

It definitely did help, darlin', thank you so much for sharing the prices! Sadly I don't think it's in the realm of possibility, but y'never know what the future has in store. Thanks, babe!

It looks stunning on your finger!

Gwen~ never say never, i''m sure you''ll find something fabulous!
2.gif
Glad you like the new pics, can you tell i''m a little obsessed... well maybe a lot obsessed!
31.gif
Ack, i''m STILL trying to get a decent arrow shot, it really will be the death of me.

Dani, Zoe, and Devine~ Thanks so much girls! It''s funny how complements from complete strangers still means so much.

Anne~ Thanks for coming back!! Yes, I''ve been doing some picture taking as you can see.
9.gif
Does your Tacori have it''s own thread? If so, could you link it to me, I only saw a couple from the Tacori thread and it looks gorgeous and I wanna see MORE!
18.gif

777~ Thanks! I''m glad you think it looks huge, although it''s really a baby compared to some of the big-momma rings here on PS.
5.gif
I''m happy with it!

Lotsofsparkle: No, no thread of my own yet. But one of these days I will!!!!!

it is amazing!

Lots of sparkles,
I know that I have already posted about your ring, but every time I see it I LOVE IT MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it is one of the prettiest ones I have seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG...your name says it all! What a beautiful ringy!!

What an awesome combination! It makes me excited to be getting my Tacori wedding set soon. My e-ring won''t be a halo, and it is one of the older styles, but every Tacori that I see set with a center stone just lookes amazing!!! Love your center diamond too. Gorgeous!

Anne- get to it girl! you're ring is gorgeous and it deserves one!
36.gif

Thanks Gummibear!
CWJ- Thanks for coming back to see more of my super self-indulgent ring shots!
2.gif
I'm glad you like them!
LoveinBloom- yup, definitely lots of sparkle!
9.gif
Thanks hun!
Neverending- can't wait to see your new tacori set!

OK. Let me just say that I have officially come out of lurkdom because I just had to tell you what a gorgeous ring that is!!! It''s just perfect.

My boyfriend and I have been looking at some Tacoris and that is my dream setting but I don''t think a $7500 setting is within his budget...
39.gif
I pretty much read all the Tacori threads on PS and I know people don''t recommend trying to knock-off tacori because it''s so intricate and detailed and so I guess I''ll just have to keep looking but I just love yours so much. I''m not a solitaire type of girl and your setting is just perfect. It really does look like a 2+ carat like everyone says. I''d much rather have your ring than a plain old 2-3ct solitaire any day!

Prettythings, first of all, thank you so much for being so kind! I love that you love it! As for the pricing, don''t give up on Tacori''s just yet. The Tacori MSRP for my ring is $7450 but you can definitely find it for a lot less if you shop around. I got mine at a small local BnM for $5900 no tax and if you decided you didn''t need platinum you could probably get it for a lot less! I also believe they make this setting in a petite version for stones under 1ct with a smaller ctw for less $$$ as well. I went to several different Tacori authorized dealers when I was shopping for my setting and all of them except for two offered me some sort of a discount.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I''m SOLD!!!!! Seriously!!! When I get an upgrade!!! No joke! I''m sorry, I can''t get over how PERFECT that setting is!!!!!!!!!!!!
23.gif
Just stunned!! I love! I am seriously totally in love with your ring! The thing that really makes me love it is how it makes your center stone look HUGE! Spectacular! Really! Congratulations!!!
