Just curious - M2B, I noticed in the picture that you are wearing a ring on both left and right. Is that how you usually wear it now a days?

I can tell you, when I go shopping with m2b, you'd better believe the sales people take us seriously (because of her jewelry)! When I am on my own, I do think things like the VCA bracelet are helpful for me to wear to places that recognize it.

In case m2b doesn't see your question, I will tell you that she normally only wears one of the rings on her left hand ring finger. She wore both because I wanted to see them both again!

DS, m-2-b, I'd totally go shopping with you ladies. The only thing is: I have Hashimotos, so I can't go in the winter, but yeah summertime would be great. If you do happen to plan a trip in the summer this year or next, please let me know. I'm due a trip to the US anyway.

Thank you, Missy! I look forward to doing this with you at some point hopefully within the next year!!! I am hoping for a NYC PS get together maybe in the fall in conjunction with an antique jewelry show! That would be fun!

It's a date @diamondseeker. I think JAWS is scheduled October 27-30th and I know at least one PSer (hey Calliecake) who is planning to visit me during that time so it would be amazing if we could all get together that weekend!

I'd come down to the city for that!

Hello diamondseeker2006 and M2b!! Looks like a fun visit with lots of gorgeous jewels. I walked into the Houston Town & Country NM store in Oct. 1984, just a country bumpkin and ended up being hired and worked there for 16 years. I pretty much "grew up" there. They have since torn it down, probably one of the only NM stores to close. I loved it and of course that was where I was introduced to fine jewelry. Thanks for sharing your visit and all the lovely bling.

Yes it is the most beautiful time of year in NYC IMO. Crisp autumn air, beautiful colors all around just lovely.

Aww, thanks Jimianne! I truly do love that antique asscher and know I was so fortunate to get it. I am so picky about cut and it was incredible to find and antique this well cut. I hope you will find one just like it!

So try to come to one of the get togethers when you can, and from there some people get together at other times. m2b and I live close enough to get together and meet somewhere occasionally. Bright Ice and I met in Vegas in 2013 and went together two more times after that, so we are kind of travel buddies now! I've met so many others that I really enjoy seeing at the big get togethers, too!

I've been there, believe me! Our youngest is finishing her junior year of college and I really didn't start travelling to these things until she was close to the end of high school because we always had things going on! There are just different seasons in life, so your time will come to be free to do other things...in fact, I cannot believe how fast the time passes!
