Magenta-Pinkish Rubellite in Titanium tension ring

Hello and Salve from Switzerland!

my latest project was letting this nice magenta-tourmaline with heavy (but most fascinating) inclusions
set into a titanium ring.

First the stone:



(by the way, it sits on white marble of the Laaser marble mine in south Tirol, Italy.

It basically looks cool, but the titanium is somewhat to thick. But my goldsmith said it had to be so thick,
because of the tension-setting.

Would love a top down photo and hand shot. From what I can see, I very much like the color of the rubellite with the titanium, but its hard to tell from the one shot you provided.

Also, does it shift in different lightings? What are the dimensions of the stone?
