I was about to post the I colored stone from Good Old Gold then I saw that Lorelei had already posted it. I have an I colored AGS0 that is very white. Prior to getting my stone I would probably have never gone that low in color, but once I got it, it''s a beautiful stone that no one can tell the color. And I think it will also be fine next to G side stones. In the end the decision is yours, but I just wanted to let you know that an I colored AGS0 will not look yellow.

I see that stone is no longer available for purchase. I hope that means you bought it and not a lurker!

So my final decision will be between these two.

Any chance you can get them both and compare side by side yourself and return the one you don''t want? BN has a generous return policy, although you would have to pay shipping on the returned stone.

I like the second one best but they both look good, check to make sure the first diamond is eyeclean to your standards so you know whether to keep it in the running or not as a purchase option.

Ditto. The second one could be fine, but without an IS pic, the first one has safer numbers.

Basically the second diamonds has an angle combo at 35/ 40.8 which is hovering around what we call steep deep territory. This means the diamond might leak light as a result which can sometimes be observed as a dark area/s in the diamond when looking face down. The best way to check for this is an Idealscope image if buying online to see if it is an issue - it may not be but BN do not offer Idealscope unfortunately. So that is why Ellen and I preferred the other diamond as the angles are a '' safer'' combo.

I just want to make sure we have this correctly.

You said the second diamond has an "angle combo" of 35/40.8 but that''s the first one. The second one (0.66) is 34.5/40.8 and the 0.73 is 35/40.8.

I must have mixed them up, yes the first has the 35/ 40.8 angles, the .73ct.

So does that make the 0.66 the better one?

It means that this diamond has angles in a ' safer' range at 34.5/ 40.8, the other diamond might be fine but it is hovering around steep deep territory - really an Idealscope image is needed to verify if there is any resultant light leakage, so in my opinion I would prefer the 0.66.
