Thank you everyone for such nice comments!

MrsSalvo & Upgradeable, the ring is a size 5 3/4 and the shank is right around 4.5mm tapering in to under 2.8mm. The taper starts fairly far back to make the very pronounced bow look. I will admit when I saw the initial MWM pic of the shank before it was sent out I was a bit worried myself that I had made a wrong choice but once it came in there was no question of how perfect it was for my girl. As many people state about Mark''s work, it is much more delicate in person, and the ring really is fluid and delicate with just a little bit more substance to it. And that taper, yup I am in love with it myself :)

Here are a few more pics.

Ringabling, the way I proposed was classic. We actually met on St. Patrick''s Day last year and with in 10 minutes of meeting we had our picture taken and posted on our city''s newspaper website. So from our very meeting we have had our relationship recorded by photos. So I decided to put together a photo album timeline with the significant dates and pictures. She just purchased her first house so I presented it to her as a house warming present and on the last page of the album, I continued the date and title but didn''t put a picture I just placed a line that said "Our Future Together Officially Begins". Once she read that I said her name, dropped to one knee and she was SO surprised and got a bit weepy. Then when she actually looked down at the ring she couldn''t believe her eyes. It truly couldn''t have been any better. All she has said the last few days is that she couldn''t have asked for a more perfect ring and that she can''t stop staring at it all day long

Now I guess it is time to work on the wedding bands. We are going to go for an eternity band and hope that an MWM one isn''t too expensive because we both would really like to have him match a band size to the ring so that it complements it and does not fight the e-ring.

Wow!! Absolutely storybook! She''s a very lucky girl.

Beeee-autiful!!! It''s stunning

Actually, I was one of the curious ones for the taper numbers. Thanks so much for obliging. I just LOVE that ring!
