Opinions por favor!

ETA-Ignore the closed basket versions. He just did that to show me what it looked like.

I love the secert stone inside the ring....very pretty!

Pretty.

Super pretty! Can''t wait to see pics of the real thing.

Absolutely lovely SCG!!!! any from the top down? I really love the martini sides with the center stone - it just flows so beautifully!

Pretty! Has Harry Winston-like prongs, I like them a lot!

Yummy!!

How do you like the three-pronged sides?

It''s so delicate and beautiful!

None directly from the top view. We have had a somewhat difficult time getting letters that we liked that worked well that I think he knew that was where the main concern was and 8 of the 10 pictures I got were side views! LOL. I have two other rounds of CAD''s showing the top down view though and it is beautiful!

Thank you everyone for your kid words!

there is this one. It''s almost a top down view.

I like the traditional four prong a little bit more. Aesthetically, I like the balanced and symmetrical look that it has, and I also like having four prongs in terms of security for an engagement ring that''s going to see a lifetime of wear. What about you SCG?

I prefer the martini prongs. I like the tapered, pretty look and I think it fits the style of the pretty baskets.

I’m a little confused with the letters on the setting; is it going to be engraved or will it be pop out a little? I see 2 versions for both the L and the A.

I like the martini settings on the side stones. It makes the whole ring just flow nicely. Who is making this for you? It looks like they are doing a very nice job.

The martini sides flow perfectly, I love the scroll work, and the letters on the open basket are so pretty, plus I am sure it will be even more delicate IRL as opposed to CADS.

Chrono-I'm not sure why he included a closed basket design. I think he was just showing me. The lettering design I am doing is going to be an open basket with the lettering overlaid on it.

Indy-I struggled between which way to go and in the end I just liked the way the 3 prong looked better. It is however slightly less secure.

SH-Thanks! JbEG is making this for me.

BN-Thanks! I think so too. How is your Sholdt coming along?

Thank you everyone for the kind comments!

That''s a beauty!

Will it use the stone that''s in your avatar?

Wow you''ve been patient then, it seems like you''ve had that stone for a while now. It''s going to be an awesome ring!

Thanks Maevie!

Vink-I've had it a while but I was so indecisive about how to set it! I went from halos to solitares and was just about to set it in a diamond bezel solitare before I gave 3-stones a second thought. I've never really thought 3-stones were my style. Boy, was I wrong!

What a lovely classic three stone. Very nice, I like the engraving.

Its going to be so gorgeous!

Thanks TL and MTG!

It''s going to look fabulous! Tell your honey that he needs to kick it in the rear when it''s done cuz we want to SEE it!

I told him packrat, he laughed and said he would work on it.

There is only one detail I am unsure of and I''d like opinions. I''d like to know if you all think I should stick with the claw prongs on the sides or use rounded little prongs like the picture below. I''m sort of thinking maybe the claw prongs cover too much stone and I can''t put my finger on it...but in my inspiration ring pictures it seems like you barely see any prong on the side stones?
