6-CARATS OF NATURAL PINK DIAMOND are about to vanish.

Several million dollars converted to dust.

Not really, since the rough isn't worth a million dollars/carat. You might say the a million dollars are going to be ground into several million dollars

Good point.

It isn't the largest pink in the world.

It isn't a super saturated trademark Argyle diamond.

The only thing it IS is the largest Argyle they have found. But the colour is atypical of what Argyle is famed for. So it isn't any one particular best...

I say send it to some of the people who worked at 8-star and get the most perfect Pink brilliant in the world out of it. Too light coloured to benefit from optimal cutting? Yes... so don't pay me any attention.

P.S.: Kenny, this must be what you are like as a cyber stalker :naughty:

I like it in its natural state, sort of looks like a carving that would make honorable mention at agta spectrum awards.

The Argyle company said the stone is similar in color to the Queen's "Williamson Pink" depicted below, which is a pale pink.

I have to admit I hate the setting, as it overwhelms the delicate pink of the diamond. That is one stone I would love to see reset.

Bingo!

I think that every time I look at it. I thought I was the only one who felt that way.

I agree.
That diamond does not need anything around it.
