:appl: i love seeing mens' rings.

Ooh, a man who's not afraid to wear colour, and a bright turquoise to boot. Lovely ring.

I love this ring! The matrix in the turquoise looks perfect and I love the style with the little diamonds set into the band. Beautiful but understated.

I also love men's rings & yours is super. Understated & masculine but so nice, sets off the turquoise very well. Did you have it custom made? Neat design!

Thanks for all the nice comments..... I purchased the stone a few years back from an internet source. It was not cheap and it sat in a drawer doing nothing. I went on vacation to London in September of this year and saw quite a few men wearing rings similer to this style. However, the stones were large Rubies or Pads, sapphire. I knew that was not going to happen. But, I had a nice turquoise in a drawer doing nothing and the idea was born. I had a local jeweler friend (known for years) here in Flint, Michigan make this for me as a 47th B-day present.

BTW: Its kinda weird, took LOTS of pictures of this stone to get a good picture for the internet. The color of the stone is actually a much deeper blue than it appears....... The flash of the camera affects the color of the stone somehow (?)

Your ring is beautiful. Wear in health and happiness!!

Beautiful stone and a very nice ring. Thank you for sharing the pictures of your new treasure, and wear it in good health and happiness.

It is a very handsome ring. Congrats!

Very nice ring! I wish my husband would wear more than his wedding ring.
Maybe try daylight lighting for pictures, to avoid the flash?

It's gorgeous! Very classic and masculine and yet sexy.

Fissionu,
Using flash will alter the colour of the gem onscreen. If indoors, turn the flash off but make sure your light sources are strong enough. I often have to add more bulbs for indoor photography. Outdoors is much easier because the sun is all you need. Again, the flash must be turned off. Often, a combination of indoor light and sunlight (by the window) works too. Play around to see what works best for you.
