My local jeweler just started putting out estate/vintage items in a case, and since I''ve been helping my mom design a ring, I''ve stopping by often this winter. I fell in LOVE with this little .25 OEC in the original 20''s wg setting - and had even dragged DH in to see it - though we both figured it would be snapped up pretty quickly. Because of the beautiful antique cuts on PS, I''d fallen in love with the chunky facets, and I really loved that this little ring was in the original setting since we just bought a house that was built in ''25 - I thought it would be fun to wear a little of the time period, too. But a month before Christmas, we decided on a $50 spending limit, I pretty much thought there was no way I''d ever see this sweet thing on my finger.

So I was very surprised when my wonderful husband surprised me with this sparkling bauble under the tree!

With my ec - I should have said earlier, but this ring is meant to be an RHR - it''s just hard to photograph it that way - but I do really like it paired with my e-ring, so I might do that every now and then, too.
