Thank you all for your compliments!!! I dropped it off at my jeweler today for sizing (it was a 7 3/4 and I think I really need that 1/4 up to an 
, and I was shocked how naked my right hand looked! I was worried that I wouldn''t feel comfortable wearing a RHR, and turns out, there are no problems there, haha The good news is that my jeweler is working on overdrive and doing 24 hour sizing turnaround - he said that he wants everyone to be able to enjoy their Christmas gifts right away! Bless him for that!!

Diamondseeker - thanks so much! It was a wonderful surprise. I''ve been very lucky in the jewelry department this year, so I knew that it was time to slow down. I''m just so happy that DH had something up his sleeve to keep my diamond lust at bay for awhile
AprilBaby - Awww, for me as well! Both my grandmothers have beautiful filigree rings (which I''m certain will not be inherited by me someday). Since there are very few antique heirloom pieces in my family, I''m perfectly happy to a historic piece of someone else''s! DH and I have had fun speculating who wore the ring in its former life.
Bee - Thank you! There are some inclusions (since it''s so small, I can''t really see them w/o a loupe but they''re very apparent under magnification) - but the sparkle is fantastic! DH is a keeper for sure
Coati - Thanks!! I realized later that in my post I said "e-ring" instead of "w-band" - but I think I will pair them together every now and then. I''m a little worried about the band rubbing against the filigree, but it''s probably OK every now and then, right? DH said he doesn''t mind if I wear the OEC with my wband every now and then because they''re both from him.

Elle_Chris - Watch out! PS bit me with the vintage bug in a bad way. Thank you also for the compliment on my EC! When I discovered the old cuts, I told my husband, "Man! I wish I would have known about these when we were ring shopping!!" and he said "WHAT?! You think you would have chosen something other than your EC?!" and I thought for a minute and said "Yeah..you''re right. It probably wouldn''t have made a difference!"

Erica - Thanks! I like the side view too because of the three straight lines leading up to the stone - it reminds me of the lines in my e-ring.
