Michael B Princess 3 sided

I was wondering if anyone had this ring and if they would give some advise how well it holds up under daily wear. My soon to be fiance and I went to a jeweler in Ft Lauderdale, FL and was told that it is not a very practical ring for everyday wear. That the diamonds on the bottom of the band and setting would get loose and break. Does any one have any advise or maybe a ring that is very similar without the stone going the whole way around the band?

There are TONS of posts on the 3 sided Michael B Pave ring. I suggest going up to Search and typing in Michael B, or 3 sided ring. You will get plenty of threads. It is a beautiful setting!
