Millennials and Jewelry

They definitely vary. My millenial daughter's best friend from college, is very into designer stuff - her Cartier Love bracelet, Hermes string, etc. She and I bond over jewelry. She was very particular about her ring and requeated that her fiance consult us. Part of it may be her heritage. She's a New York city gal from China, and in my experience Chinese ladies like their baubles. I'm looking forward to her wedding next month, it's at the same location my husband and I got engaged.

So I don't think it's possible to generalize. My parents are boomers who couldn't care less about jewelry, they're simple midwesterners. I'm a gen xer and I love them.

I wonder every time I see a Louis Vuitton bag. Everyone has one.

But sometimes they're so cute. I'm taking a 2 week trip and I really wanted a summer Neverfull, since my brown Neverfull is so helpful on trips. I couldn't get it out of my mind.
