The story isn't anything particularly special. Since joining PS, I have made antique diamonds my hobby. I'm constantly tracking the market.

Once my mom started joking around again, started looking more intently at the 10+ carat market. There were actually a couple of other stones that we were looking at beforehand that didn't work out.

Oh my Lord in heaven!!! QB is gorgeous! I gasped when I saw her!!! Your mom’s comment on waiting 50 years for this made my heart clench in joy. What an incredible feat and what an amazing daughter you are!

Please please tell us the story of how you found her, in as much depth and detail as you can manage. What do you estimate her colour to be - I have to say she’s super white, face up. Do you plan to get her certed? Even if you aren’t comfortable sharing numbers, would you be able to indicate roughly the price you paid (in comparison to other comparable OMCs out there)? I just would love whatever detail you can share!!

never in a million zillion years would I have guessed it correctly! I totally guessed it was L-M VS when I saw your first reel. I can only WISH that my estimated QR stones had faced up even a tenth as white as this one. This is AMAZING.

The stone is just STUUUUUUUNNING. And to have gotten it at 20%+ off retail! You are incredible!!

Hi @Catmom thanks so much! But to clarify-I just sourced the diamond-my parents made the purchase. Tbh, if I had the means to easily buy my mom a 10 carat, it would be the case of one for her and one for me!

And thanks for your well wishes for my dad. He's doing better but I think it will be a long recovery...

I know everyone and all cases are different but my Dad’s physical therapy (prescribed after falling months ago) helped him dramatically, even with getting stronger in other parts of his body. The PT professionals gave him support to get stronger and just as important provided emotional encouragement. I hope your dad can benefit likewise. Sorry if this is presuming anything. Hoping for continued healing.
