So as you all may know I have recently purchased but still evaluating a 2.6 ct J SI2 GIA triple EX diamond. I have more pics of diamond with my ACA. The more I see/evaluate the diamond, the more I like it. Honestly, I am not a stickler for color or clarity as long as the diamond is beautiful to look at. I cannot see inclusions with my naked eye(at least) and the diamond has the same amount of tint as my 1.3 ct J SI1 ACA and that never bothered me. I am taking it to an appraiser and will make a decision after I evaluate further this week. But I am starting to think about a setting. I originally wanted to change the head of my current setting to fit the new diamond but I am not opposed to going with a simpler solitaire setting. Is there a setting that you would recommend?
Also do you think it will look good in the old setting?
Here are some photos of the new diamond --
