Let me see what I can do...I think my husband took a picture of me wearing the dress in question while we were in St. Lucia so I will try to locate it. I am not the type of woman to just spend money on such a dress unless it was just perfect...my FDIL and son and husband LOVE this dress...My husband welled up when he saw me in it and that did it for me!!!

I have to say, that a dear and close GF of mine will probably be shocked by this dress...not for any other reason, but because she wants me to only wear highly modest dresses and this would be considered way too revealing, which it is NOT. I may lose a friend over this dress...

Deanne... if your friend was a true friend, she wouldn''t judge you like that.. you go girl.. you''re not dressing for HER anyway.. I for one, would love to see it!!

You have NO idea how much that means right now...I understand my GF''s feelings, but for crying out loud, it is a great dress and classy, too. My body type--as I have mentioned--is shortwaisted, plus I am not the tiniest gal out there at 5''5" and about 152 lbs. or so. I have worked very hard--with the exception of the last 4 weeks due to sickness or just being too darn busy with wedding or business stuff to go to the gym like I was. I only get there once, maybe twice a week these days.

After 9 kids, being able to be sleek, sophisticated and elegant is so amazing to me. This is such a special day and my friend has some strong overbearing thoughts of what a moral woman who isn''t trying to grasp unwarranted attention should wear. I love her, but she has gone a bit over the edge in the last several months with this...She is always telling me how lucky I am to have the figure I do...yada, yada...and it makes me feel...well...uncomfortable. I have tried to talk to her about it and help her to see herself for the vivacious person she is. I even arranged a makeup makeover for her on the 15th of April for my FDIL''s bridal shower. She was appreciative, but still ...

Anyways...I will search for that picture and post it asap...I can honestly say that I feel really pretty in it...
