For people who are pastel colored, do you find that blue Akoyas look good on your skin? I have a fair skinned Asian, but my face is darker than the rest of me (weird, I know). Light blue usually looks horrible on me, but I'm wondering if the blue Akoyas would be okay?

Um, what are pastel-colored people? Like, pale and washed out? Milky?

If you don't look good in light blue, you won't like the blue baroque Akoyas. Look at all the money I just saved you.

Wanted to let folks here know that I've asked to "return" the pearl studs n drops.

Reluctantly did so after thinking about it for the longest time and looking at the pics that have been shared that makes me think that the studs could be a tad too big for me and the drops may not suit my complexion. So if anyone wants them, pls contact Kevin. He's been really great about the returns and I truly appreciate that. Returns are so costly from my part of the world so I didn't want to go to that route although I was really reluctant to give up the pearls without seeing them irl.

I usually get my mom and sister pearls. I think they are sick of them! However there was a necklace of really inexpensive cheap peace potato pearls that I made as a 4 strand to practice notting. My mom really liked to, so she is getting that from me. along with other gifts.

I ordered my mom a pair of the gold/copper metallic drops from POJ. She is the type that squirrels all of her "good" jewelry away. Her nice pieces only see the light of day on rare special occasions, and she wears costume jewelry on a day to day basis. I'm hoping a pair of pretty but inexpensive pearls hit the right note and actually get some wear! Either way, I know she will be pleased.

In Canada though, so still waiting on my order...

i still did not hear back from Chenai [sigh] so I ordered in an attempt to get something to go with Little Red but not be too matchy and also be used with my cat pendant:

rec'd and already sent back........didn't go with Little Red that well and didn't look at all good on me.....sigh.

I agree. If they were more uniform in color, I would jump on it. I just bought oval/near-round multis in March, and the price for the rounds is very good. I asked if there were picture of individual strands, and I think they are not available at the moment.

It is a fantastic deal!

But if people think they are getting the photographed strand, they may be disappointed.
This listing is a multiple item listing and it does NOT say that "the strand in the photo is the strand you will receive."

I just wanted to point this out because typically PP lists and photographs Tahitian strands individually and I could see a misunderstanding happening here.

Hello! I just wanted to pop in for a quick show and tell. I picked up the baby ripples from PP. They are quite baroque in shape and very textured. Here's shots of it alone, on my neck, and with my larger ripples from Kojima. The baby ripples are definitely peachy pink. They are lighter in weight than the larger ripples and really fun to wear. I suspect that these will get a lot of wear in the summer when it's too hot for my heavier strand.

no, these aren't the pink to peach ripples. they are the multicolor ones.
