Multiple wedding bands?

Ladies, I''m drooling over all of your sets!!
The more I see the uniqueness of everyone''s rings and how they''re stacked, the more I''m liking the idea - I asked FI about the two wedding bands, and he says that''s a good idea too!! So I''m going to start looking at what kind of thin bands I like.
Do you recommend having the bands the same width as your e-ring (in my case, it''s about 2.8 mm, so it might be too thick to wear 2 more bands the same width) or just half the width so it won''t overpower the e-ring?

I think you need to decide if you can handle that much width on your hand daily. 8.4mm of band might not be comfortable when you are driving or are doing other things where you need to bend your hands.Date: 5/1/2009 11:00:02 AM

I love the look, you all have wonderful sets!
I would love to have a plain band under my e-ring and then an eternity band above it, and be able to switch it around, and wear the bands alone, and so forth.
Now we plan on getting engaged next summer, so I don''t know much about weddings; does the man buy your wedding band as well? If so, how do you go about asking for both a plain band and an eternity band?
If not, I''d be happy to purchase my own eternity band and plain band, granted that I''m out of law school by then!
