A fabulous ring, truly a elegant and classy ring. Your pics look stunning too!!!!

What a beautiful ring, I love the hand shots.

The prongs are simply exquisite. Definitely my favorite setting for the classic solitaire look. Well done!

I''m waiting on my Torchiere right now and it should be coming pretty shortly!

My diamond is very very similar to yours.. 0.85 G VS2 AGS0 H&A. I had a little hesitation about how that size would look in the setting, mostly because of the number of prongs. Most all of the ones I had seen were 1ct or larger. Yours looks great, though! I kept hearing that the prongs are more delicate in real life than they may appear in the magnified photos.

Congratulations!

Such a stunner. Love it -- congratulations!

It''s such a sweet and romantic setting, and it looks great on you!

Thanks for everyone''s kind words! I know it''s said all the time on these forums, but Mark Morrell really does exquisite work, and is an incredibly nice person as well -- I talked to him on the phone several times while I was making up my mind on the setting, and he was always unfailingly helpful and genuinely friendly. I''m thrilled not only with the ring but also with the entire process, and with the value we received for our money -- how often can you buy anything these days that are made individually by a true craftsman?

Blackwave, I''m sure you''ll love the Torchiere! The prongs really are very delicate; I''m not sure any of my friends who have looked at my ring up close can tell the prongs are hearts! I had tried on a Flame with I think a 0.9ct stone at GOG, and knew that the "finger coverage" of the 0.87 would be fine on my small fingers (I didn''t want an overly large or "flashy" looking ring, as I tend to wear very little if any jewelry...)

O love the pic of the 2 of you holding hands!!! Very pretty ring, Congratulations!!
