I knew that I wanted a large emerald cut (at least I think a 1.63 carat stone is large!), but I didn''t want the setting to distract from the beauty of the stone. I also wasn''t willing to give up the sparkle of a RB, so we came up with this combination. I truly couldn''t be more thrilled!

The stone is mesmerizing, and the setting is so elegant with those graceful curving prongs.

Here are a couple of pictures of the stone loose. As you can see, it shows much more color in these two pictures than it does in real life. I *love* the value that a well-cut "J" offers.
