Wow what a process! It was so nerve wracking but we got our Craigslist diamond. I know, I know, Craigslist wasn''t my first pick for diamond vendors either. I just happened to be browsing one day and ran across a true gem. Here''s the link for my previous post on this diamond 2.70 CT K
And, WE BOUGHT IT! It''s fantastic. I had it independently appraised and it got a clean bill of health, absolutely no red flags, and an A in the light return category. I was super thrilled. In addition, my appraiser said that the diamond had a bit of a chameleon effect. Meaning that in some lights it has a yellowish/golden hue while in others it has a greenish hue, which I found fascinating. I took plenty of pics, and had difficulty getting much color out of the stone despite the appraiser''s assessment of it as having K-L coloring. But the color is certainly there in low lighting conditions;it just appears as a golden glow.
So without further ado...
